Having a Blogger Blog Is Nice, But Advertising Can Be Tough.
It's somewhat hard because it's like having a subdomain name, without the dotcom. Though it will be in google blogs, and a few other places naturally you really want to advertise it in a few other places. I will give you some tips on how to get that done, and at the same time get some high backlinks for your post. Try to do these in order. There is a method to blogger marketing.
1) Advertise on Linkedin, if you don't have a acct get one, and post your blogger post there. It's a page 9 site. Please make sure your content is original. Linkedin advertising is better then what most think.
2) Advertise On Twitter, now always use hashtags within your post or tweet. Example for this page #advertiseblogger #bloggermarketing I think you get the idea, and copy and paste your link after the hashtags.
3) Advertise On Pinterest, now always have a picture within your post, BUT when you copy and paste the picture from say Google Images, when you save it to your desktop or where you have your pictures, use a keyword phrase to save it. It gives you more benefits for seo on the blog.
4) Adverise On Digg, now you can't do the home page but any post can be submitted to Digg. It's also a high page rank site and will give you a boost within the search engines. Digg can help you down the road as well, the link will stay forever. If you get comments for your post it will jump to close to the 1st page for your keywords.
5) Advertise On Stumble, this site will give people a chance to see your post and if they like it they will stumble it to their friends, sometimes can go viral on you if it's something they like. It goes by category so your not spamming anyone.
6) Advertise On Feedburner, make your blog into a rss feed. Blogger does NOT do this automatically for you. There are many options there but the main one is where it says "publicize" that's where you can add it to Twitter and other sites, as well as having it Pinging your post everytime you add something new. Though it will only ping it to google.
There are many other ways to advertise your blogger site, but those above are all free to use. If your looking for paid advertising and you don't want to spend a lot of money I recommend SEO MALL. They have a terrific reputation and are very well versed in online marketing. Plus they are inexpensive. I use them a lot for all my blogs and they give you a report to see where the ads were placed. High quality advertising for blogger.
Link building is also something you should consider, places like linkmarket will build links for you and it's also inexpensive. Places like fiverr.com is another avenue you can look at. Though I am not a big fan, people will do things for five dollars like article marketing and build you a video, the product is never that good. But it's link building in a nutshell. The Warrior Forum is a top forum for advice when it comes to website design and advertising. Flippa is a place where people sell websites, so if your interested in buying a website that's the place to go.
I have been using blogger for many years and have been super happy with the results, Ive used wordpress in the past and it's nice also. But I have just as good a result using blogger. I wish you the best and hope you like this information I passed on here.
