This happens usually when you either get a brand new computer or click something you probably shouldn't have. OK how can you get rid of it?
You've probably went to your control panel and deleted all the programs you thought was it BUT it keeps showing up?
OK now what you have to do, is go to Yahoo-directly type it in the browser yahoo.com and search for yahoo toolbar--then download it - it's free-
Now it will ask you to make your homepage yahoo
click yes
and it will ask if you want to check it to have it permanently click yes
underneath that you will see the conduit search DO NOT CLICK THAT
it will automatically go away when you make your Yahoo toolbar your homepage
That's the only way you will be able to get rid of it.
It's NOT a virus
so you don't have to worry about that. But it's the only way to get rid of the conduit search toolbar that keeps showing up as your homepage. It's a pain in the butt I already know that, it happened to me and many that I know. But if you follow these steps it will never come back again.
